Membership Requirements

Registered Reflexology Therapist (RRT) Requirements

To qualify as an RRT, applicants must demonstrate:

  • Graduation from an ACART-approved reflexology training program
  • Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
  • Proof of professional liability insurance
  • Canadian criminal record check
  • Completion of continuing education units (CEUs) each two-year cycle
  • Payment of applicable fees

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Ongoing learning is vital to professional growth.

CEU requirements & support

  • RRT members are required to earn and submit 20 CEUs every two years.
  • CEUs may be earned through approved workshops, courses, conferences, or self-directed learning (with documentation).
  • ACART provides guidance and support for CEU tracking and submission.

How to Apply or Renew

New Members

  1. Complete the membership application form
  2. Attach required documentation
  3. Submit your payment after acceptance confirmation

Renewing Members

  2. Update any training, insurance, or CEU information
  3. Submit your annual renewal fee
